Installation Setup
In order to use this theme, you must run a stand-alone installation of wordpress and not have a free subdomain at wordpress.com. Once you have the zip archive ready, you need to go to your dashboard, which is http://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin and go to Appearance > Themes > Install Themes and, in the top menu, select Upload. Now, select the zip archive and just install it normally.
If the above solution fails due to any reason, upload the theme manually via FTP and then go to Appearance > Themes to enable it manually. If you don't know how to upload the theme via FTP, check Uploading themes via FTP. For further help, you can also read Using themes
Activation
Activate Theme
Installing Visual Composer, Redux FrameWork and Muziq plugin
After activation, will need to install all plugin requirements (included in plugins folder). For do it, click on "Begin installing plugin", and activate it.
Now need to create a new page and set as HOME, go to Pages > Add new, enter the title "Home" and select "Home Page" on the Template dropdown menu (at right column of the page) and Publish. For set our HOME page as a Homepage go to Settings > Reading, select a "static page (select below)" and "Front page: Home", and save changes.
Creating Sub Page
Muziq is a One Page and Multipage theme, and use diferent pages for each section, for exemple, the Home page contains Welcome, What we do, Video,... page. For create the pages, go to Pages > Add New
Set the Section attributes with the dropdown menu at the bottom of the page, Select section type for especial styling and/or upload a background parallax image
Loading XML file and Importing samble data
We recommend to load the XML file "muziq_theme_sample_data.xml" attached with the theme (folder Muziq > Sample Data > muziq_theme_sample_data.xml), select Tools > Import, and click on Wordpress (Import posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags from a WordPress export file.) and select the XML file located on you computer, in the Muziq Theme folder. NOTE: is necessary to install and active the WodrPress Importer
When the XML content is loaded successfully, need to activate de Main Menu, go to Apparence > Menus, and set the menu as a Main menu using the checkbox of Menu Settings list / Theme locations / Main Menu.
Blog
For set the blog page, go to Settings > Reading, and select Blog on the "Post page:" dropdown menu.
Slider
Configure the main Slider is very easy, only go to Pages and click on Home for edit, inside the home page, can see the Slider Options at the bottom

Setup One and Multipage Version
One Page
- Please create a Homepage and setup subpage for this Homepage to use One page version for your website
- Please use #ip-container for home menu in onepage version
- Please use order option to re-order page section in onepage version
- Please use custom link for One page version, custom link will like: http://youraddress/#page-slug
- How do check page slug:
- Click Screen Options at the top right
- Choose and make a check for slug
- Check page slug at the end of the page
Multiple Page
- Please create a Homepage and setup subpage for this Homepage to use this page like homepage for your website
- Second step: you need create some page with Template: Parents and create some subpage with your content for this parents.
- After you done everything above, create a navigation link to parents page for the navigation
